If you want to see how much has the world changed, just visit a college....the best place where you will find types of youngsters from different background. In the earlier days, students were an epitome of politeness and discipline. But today?....the moment you will enter a college campus, youngsters with cellphone and a host of friends can be heard boasting of their superiority. None of them will accept that he is inferior to others in any matter.
Your views will be more clear when you go a little far....i.e. the classroom. Many students are not hardworking and look for a shortcut to success. To some extent, you can hold the current scenario responsible for this. Time and life have become so fast that nobody wants to take a longer route to his destination. This gains ground especially when you have easier options available. Professionalism has become so prominent that even while studying, you think of your professional future. It proves that one does not study for the sake of studies. Sometimes you may find even teachers amazed at the silly questions asked by them. One day a girl asked her teacher that she had to go for the audition of an “M TV” reality show “ROADIES” and if there was an alternative for low attendance she would have. Such things really prove that todays youngsters have become much ambitious and falling low in matter of patience.
HAH! this is what we call ’door ke dhol suhawne’!!! Dude those polite and disciplined students of yesteryear are the parents of college kids today...
If you want to find a reason for the brashness of kids today, blame the parents and the previous generations who thought it would be cool for them to have a nuclear setup!!!
its not us kids of today who are to be solely blamed for looking towards our peers for company and support.
we only succumb to their pressure because we dont have any emotional support back home!!!
maybe at that time non-polite to polite ratio was 40 to 60 and now its 50-50 or maybe 60 - 40, but saying that everyone was all nicey nice back then is not really true.
And parents are not solely responsible for what kids are today. I know so many people who are pretty messed up in their lives but their parents have devoted all their time to help their kids.
It’s more of a society thing and also exposure to whole lot of information (good or bad) takes it’s toll.
Blame it on games, on TVs, on internet, on parents or on society. but I believe that everything plays it’s own role in making kids what they are today
We need the world’s youth to take up the plans that myself and John McCain are trying to express.
Why, then, would so many of these GO TO youth be excited about a presidential candidate that stops progress dead in it’s tracks in lieu of welfare and unfair taxation? Obama does not want the youth to have the will to succeed and do better for themselves and for America... A strong willed youth can lead to a stronger America and thus a much stronger world!
We need our our youthful future to pick up the pace and see what’s really going on before someone uses their deceptive and well practiced ”hype” to fool you into putting the wrong US President into control of the world’s economy.
Please, check out McCain’s 3R Economic Plan and see how much of a difference you can make!
My site has abrief outline of the plan as I tend to post it way too often here!

We only have one chance this time around and cannot reset and go for high score two years from now.
But the value systems are really pathetic. Its more a matter of what the parents and peer pressure fills the kids with.Something should be done about that. The change should come from the parents and adult members of society first.
anyways...
The endless kids reality shows are featured now a days, will some one tell me are these kids more ambitious or their parents, who in a blind pursuit of money and fame, are hampering in the child’s natural growth.
is the new gen children or the new-gen parents more ambitious, think??
Robert Southey had said,”Ambition is an idol, on whose wings great minds are carried only to extreme; to be sublimely great or to be nothing.”
So, nothing is wrong in being ambitious.
